Purpose, in the publication’s words

This manual implements Department of the Air Force Policy Directive (DAFPD) 52-1, Chaplain Corps and executes the guidance in Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI) 52-105, Chaplain Corps Resourcing. It provides the basic responsibilities, procedures and practices for the Air Force Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund. The manual applies to all civilian employees and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, United States Space Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard and the Civil Air Patrol (when performing Air Force assigned missions in its role as a volunteer civilian auxiliary of the Air Force). This manual requires the collection and or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by Title 10 United States Code (USC), Section 9013, Secretary of the Air Force.
