Purpose, in the publication’s words

This regulation outlines the policies for managing the Soldier and Family Readiness (SFR) System that is in coordination with the Military Family Readiness System. These integrate an array of modalities (tech- nology) across all components to improve predictability and quality of service delivery. The SFR promotes military family well-being by offering programs and services that enhances family readiness, prevention of harmful behaviors, resilience, and quality of life through various access points. Access points are loca- tions where military Families can obtain information and/or services (Army Community Service (ACS), Family Assistance Center (FAC), and Army Reserve Family Programs Office). SFR access points may use web-based and telephonic service delivery to reach geographically dispersed eligible personnel and their Families in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1342.22.
