Synopsis as published on the index

The Commanding General (CG) of Training and Education Command (TECOM) initiated an Operational Planning Team (OPT) in the fall of 2021 to explore potential updates to both the Marine Corps Water Survival Training Program (MCWSTP) and Underwater Egress Training (UET). Early in the problem-framing effort, the OPT determined that there was a lack of a clear, service-level guidance regarding UET standards. This Bulletin establishes interim, service-level policy until these changes can be incorporated into reference (a).
