The Marine Corps has identified and validated billets that require officers who possess postgraduate-level education, experience, and training. This Order provides policy for the announcement, selection, slating, and management of Marine Corps officers to postgraduate programs. MCO 1524.1 30 May 2019 2 Postgraduate is a term referring to courses of study undertaken after obtaining an initial undergraduate degree (i.e. baccalaureate).
