Synopsis as published on the index
EW operations are conducted in increasingly complex Electromagnetic Operating Environments (EMOE). The use, access, and ability to affect systems operating in the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) is one of the key aspects of modern warfare. Further, the ability of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) to establish and maintain EMS freedom of maneuver, while disrupting and denying our adversary’s use, at the time and place of the commander's choosing, is critical to mission success across the full range of military operations. This directive’s OPR (sponsor) has been transferred from PP&O to DC I.
