How the New Hanover rate is used
TDY. Lodging is reimbursed at what you actually pay, up to $147 a night; M&IE is $74 a day, paid at 75% on the first and last day (JTR par. 020302). If a government meal is provided, the proportional meal rate ($41) replaces full M&IE.
PCS — Temporary Lodging Expense. TLE for a move to or from New Hanover is built on these two figures times a family percentage, capped per day (JTR par. 0506). The TLE calculator already knows this locality — search it by name.
