Purpose, in the publication’s words
This instruction applies to all uniformed and civilian members of the United States Space Force (USSF), the Regular Air Force (RegAF), and with the exception of paragraphs where explicitly different guidance is provided, it also applies to Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard units, herein referred to as the Air Reserve Component (ARC). Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the office of primary responsibility (OPR), using Department of the Air Force (DAF) Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication; route DAF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This publication may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements must be routed to the OPR of this publication for coordination prior to certification and approval. The authorities to waive wing or unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement. See Department of the Air
