PFRA composite
73.5
of 100
Fails composite or any component minimum
Scoring for: Male, age 25–29 · Physical Fitness Readiness Assessment (PFRA)
Per-component score
Shape of your score across every component. A balanced shape means no component is dragging the composite down.
Holding your current performance constant, how would the composite shift across every age bracket? Older brackets have more forgiving anchors.
Age bracket: 25–29
Pick each component's exercise, then type your result or drag the slider. Times type naturally — "1325" and "13:25" both read as 13 min 25 s. Mini curves show where your value lands on the published 0–100 scale.
Cardio
Pick one aerobic event. Counts for 50 of 100 composite points.
41 / 50
chart pts
= 82 / 100 scaled
Primary cardio event. Scored 35–50 chart points on the exact published table; slower than the starred minimum fails the component.
Body Composition
Waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) — waist ÷ height. Lower is better.
15 / 20
chart pts
= 75 / 100 scaled
Waist ÷ height, both in inches, compared at two decimals — exactly as the PFRA chart bands it. ≤0.49 = full 20 pts (Low Risk) · 0.50–0.54 Moderate Risk · 0.55–0.59 High Risk on reduced points · ≥0.60 = 0 pts (component fail). Same thresholds for men and women, all ages.
W 37.5 ÷ H 69 = 0.54 WHtR
Tape to the nearest half inch. Height takes inches or feet+inches — 66, 66.5, 5'6", and "5 ft 6" all work. The ratio is compared at two decimals — exactly how the published chart bands it.
Upper Body
Pick one upper-body push event.
9 / 15
chart pts
= 60 / 100 scaled
Standard push-up form. Max reps in 1 minute. Scored 2.5–15 chart points on the exact published table.
Core
Pick one core event.
8.5 / 15
chart pts
= 57 / 100 scaled
Primary core event. Time held. Scored 2.5–15 chart points on the exact published table (5-second steps).
Current standing
Unsatisfactory
Composite 73.5 / 100 · below the passing standard.
Excellent
≥90 composite with all component minimums met
Satisfactory
≥75 composite AND all component minimums met
Unsatisfactory
Fails composite or any component minimum
Weighted composite out of 100 (Cardio 50 · Body 20 · Upper 15 · Core 15). Pass ≥75 composite AND meet every component minimum. Scored here on the exact published chart tables — every points row, no interpolation. AFSPECWAR/EOD members test against the Under-25 male column at every age.

Unit roster
Built for PTLs and UFPMs: add each member's info, type their results, and export the scored roster as a formatted Excel workbook or PDF — names, ages, results, per-event points, composite, and pass/fail. Everything stays in this browser; nothing is uploaded.
Defaults for the next member you add
These pre-fill each member you add. Every member then picks their own events with the dropdown inside their row — one airman can run while another does the HAMR.

Roster data is saved in this browser only (per branch) and never leaves your device. Times type naturally — "1325" and "13:25" both read as 13 min 25 s. Exports are estimates from the official published tables — verify retention-critical scores with your unit fitness office against the official PDF.
Every approved exercise with its minimum and maximum scoring anchors for male, age 25–29. Values are pulled directly from each branch's official PDF — Air Force anchors are the starred chart minimum and the top chart row.

v3 — Real published tables, not curve-fits.
The Air Force / Space Force PFRA is scored on the exact Final PFRA Scoring Charts effective 1 Mar 2026 — every points row of every event is encoded and looked up, no interpolation, so the points shown match the published chart cell for cell. Other branches score from their official PDF's 60-pt and 100-pt anchors with linear interpolation between (matches the published tables within ~1–2 points). Coast Guard 100-pt anchors are approximated pending the PFT Guide release on the PRP SharePoint. Always verify retention-critical scores with your unit fitness leader against the official PDF.
About this entitlement
This calculator computes scores for the current official fitness tests of each U.S. uniformed service using the scoring tables published in each branch's governing instruction: the Army Fitness Test (AFT) under AR 350-1; the Air and Space Force Physical Fitness and Readiness Assessment (PFRA) under DAFMAN 36-2905; the Navy Physical Readiness Test (PRT) under OPNAVINST 6110.1L; the Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test (PFT) under MCO 6100.13A with ADMIN CH-5; and the Coast Guard Physical Readiness Program (PRP) under ALCOAST 007/26 and COMDTINST 6200.1E.
Every threshold is taken directly from the published scoring PDF — for Army from AFT_Scoring_Scales_250601.pdf, for the Air Force from the AFPC Final PFRA Scoring Charts effective 1 March 2026 (every points row of every event encoded exactly), for the Navy from Guide-5A dated Dec 2025, and for the Marine Corps from MCO 6100.13A with ADMIN CH-5. Coast Guard values are drawn from ALCOAST-published minimums; 100-point anchors are approximated pending PFT Guide release.
AR 350-1 · DAFMAN 36-2905 · OPNAVINST 6110.1L · MCO 6100.13A · ALCOAST 007/26 · COMDTINST 6200.1E
The Air Force PFRA is scored on the exact published lookup tables: all 26 points rows of each muscular-fitness event and all 21 rows of each cardio event are encoded per sex and age bracket, so a result maps to the same chart points a Fitness Assessment Cell would read off the chart (2.5–15 for muscle and core events, 35–50 for cardio, 0–20 for waist-to-height ratio). Performing below the starred chart minimum fails that component. The medically-approved 2 km walk is pass/fail at the published maximum time; per DAFMAN 36-2905 the composite is then computed from the remaining components rescaled to 100.
Other branches use two anchor values per age bracket per sex: the 60-point threshold and the 100-point threshold (maximum), with the service-specific minimum pass encoded separately (Army/Coast Guard: 60; Navy: 50 per OPNAVINST 6110.1L; Marines: 40 per MCO 6100.13A). Scores between anchors are linearly interpolated, which matches the published per-rep and per-second tables within ~1–2 points across the scored range.
The composite is the sum of component scores (or the weighted 50-20-15-15 chart-point sum for the Air Force PFRA). Composite thresholds and category labels are taken from each branch's published grade bands.
